The 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump commiserate about the threats they receive in a group text chain

"Misery loves company," Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) told Politico, explaining why he and the other nine House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump earlier this year have an active text chain in which they "frequently discuss threats or nasty comments they've received."
The "Band of Brothers," as the group has dubbed themselves, includes Kinzinger, Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), John Katko (R-N.Y.), Fred Upton (R-Mich.), Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.), Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.), Peter Meijer (R-Mich.), Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio.), Tom Rice (R-S.C.), and David Valadao (R-Calif.).
"We're all dealing with the same challenges," Kinzinger told Politico, adding that members of his own extended family have labeled him a general in the "devil's army" because of his Trump criticism. Read more at Politico.
