Greg Pence has won the Republican nomination for the Indiana congressional seat once held by his younger brother, Vice President Mike Pence, CNN projects.
Pence, who owns antique malls in southern Indiana and is the eldest of the six Pence siblings, had never before run for office. The congressional seat represents parts of eastern Indiana, and was vacated by Rep. Luke Messer, who is running for Senate. Pence is the Messer campaign's finance chairman.
