President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will not meet at the Demilitarized Zone on the Korean Peninsula, the president told reporters Wednesday.
Trump ruled out the DMZ as a possible location for an upcoming summit between him and Kim, even though he'd previously expressed interest in meeting there for its "representative, important, and lasting" symbolism. "It will not be there," said Trump when asked whether the talks would take place at the DMZ. Trump also told reporters that the date and location of his meeting with Kim would be announced "within three days," reports CNN.
